Welcome to the homepage of the Bristol Astronomy Club. Our meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of each month at King College's Burke Observatory in Bristol, Tennessee. Please join us!

Next regular club meeting will be Friday, July 10, at 7:00 PM. This meeting will be held in Room 11 of the college's White Hall (the Science Building). The talk will be about the earth's moon and will feature Paul Lewis, from the University of Tennessee, and Mike Chesman. This program is the fourth in a series of events hosted by the Bristol Astronomy Club and King college to celebrate the 2009 "International Year of Astronomy."
In August (Saturday, 8/15/09), the Bristol Astronomy Club celebrates its 50th anniversary! An afternoon of special activities are planned to commemorate this event. More details to follow.
